If the vacation is geared toward exploration, and hotel amenities are not a concern, then Bolivia hotels in Cobija and Oruro, and Tarija are more appropriate. If the goal is to stay in a nice hotel where there is a view, and rapid night life, than Santa Cruz, and La Paz are the places to be.
